Description
The south range of outbuildings at Shugborough Park Farm dates from around 1803 to 1806 and was designed by architect Samuel Wyatt. Constructed from red brick, the building is two storeys high with various openings and doorways arranged irregularly. To the right of the center, there is a group of five segmental-headed doorways and a stringcourse runs along the building. The center of the range includes a former watermill, which no longer has its mill-wheel and some machinery, but still retains some wooden cog-wheels, the horizontal and vertical shafts, and two sets of underdriven stones. The roof is made of slate. There is also a short single-storey return wing at the courtyard entrance, featuring a blind arcaded treatment.
