Description

The Cottage, also known as Black and White Cottage, is a 17th-century building originally constructed as a single cottage, but now divided into two dwellings. It is built with a timber frame and painted brick, and has one storey with an attic space. The roof is punctuated by three gabled dormers. The front elevation features three small, rectangular bay windows and a plain doorway sheltered by a 19th-century rustic wood gabled porch. Plain eaves run along the roof line, which is tiled.
