Description
The Church of All Saints in Chebsey is a Grade I listed building of Norman origin, featuring original fabric in both the nave and chancel. Constructed from stone with a tiled roof, it includes a nave with a south aisle, a chancel, and a west tower. The church has a late Norman north doorway and a 13th-century four-bay south arcade, along with a south doorway and chancel arch from the same period. The tower is in the Perpendicular style and is topped with pinnacles. Inside, the chancel boasts a plain cambered-beam roof, likely from the 16th century. An early 18th-century porch is present, and the communion rail, featuring twisted balusters, dates back to 1682. The church also contains stained glass by Kempe and Kempe and Tower. It is recognized for its architectural interest.
