Description

The John Barlow Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately one yard south of the chancel of the Church of St. James in Acton Trussell, Bednall. It commemorates John Barlow, who died in 1805. The tomb is constructed from ashlar and features a moulded base, reeded angle pilasters, and oval panelled sides. At the top, it has a pyramidal cap, which is surmounted at the apex by the base of a former finial.
