Description
Somerford Grange is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a roof that is hidden behind a crenellated parapet, with brick stacks. The building is designed in a Gothick style and stands three storeys tall, with floor bands and a moulded parapet band. It has three windows, which are plate glass sashes with Gothick surrounds. The ground floor has canted bays on the left and right, while the central windows are circular. There is a central six-panelled door, with the upper two panels glazed, set within a simple gabled porch. Somerford Grange was designed to serve as an eye-catcher for Somerford Hall.
