Description
Sugar Loaf Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with some alterations from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with raised verges and a brick integral end stack. The building is oriented north-east to south-west and faces south-east. It is three storeys tall and has a dentilled eaves band, with reduced proportions on the second floor. The façade consists of three bays, each with 16-pane glazing bar sash windows that have raised and moulded surrounds. There is a central half-glazed door with a rectangular overlight. On the north-west front, there are 18th-century casement windows with segmental heads. The interior includes a contemporary stick baluster staircase that rises through three storeys around an open well. Most of the fireplaces have been removed, but the farmhouse retains its beams, doors, and shutters.
