Description
This is a churchyard cross located approximately 25 yards south of the south aisle of St. Chad's Church. It is possibly from the 15th century and has been restored. The cross is made of stone and features three steps leading up to a wide base. The shaft is octagonal with a chamfered cap, and it is carved on each face. At the top, it is surmounted by a cross that is of a later date.
