Description
Nore Hill Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with extensions added in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rough-faced sandstone ashlar, with red brick extensions; the roof is tiled with raised coped verges. The building is roughly L-shaped. The south elevation features a 17th-century stone range to the left, two stories high, and a mid-19th-century brick crosswing, also two stories high with an attic, to the right. There is an external gable end stack on the crosswing. The windows are arranged with a 1:1 ratio, with casements; the windows on the right have segmental heads. The west elevation has stone mullioned windows.
