Description
The Temple is a garden temple that has been converted into a licensed bar. It was built in the mid to late 18th century and may have been designed by James Gibbs. The structure is made of brick and ashlar, topped with a slate roof. It features a pedimented Doric portico in antis, which has 20th-century plate glass doors and a window behind the colonnade. At the rear, there is a 20th-century hotel. Inside, there are 20th-century bar fittings and decoration.
