Description
The Brice Storr memorial is a chest tomb located about 2 meters south-east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints in Madeley. It dates from around 1803 and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb has a rectangular plan with a moulded plinth and capping, featuring square corner balusters. The moulded inscription panels are decorated with floral designs at the corners and commemorate Reverend Brice Storr, "Minister of Madeley," who died in 1805, and his wife, Elizabeth, who died in 1803. The south side of the tomb also honors their children, George, who died in 1849, and Anne, who died in 1853.
