Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb dating from around 1790, located approximately 0.5 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Mary in Loggerheads. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a rectangular plan. The tomb has a moulded capping with reeded corner pilasters and capping blocks. There are oval inscription panels on the long sides and one on the short side, but all were illegible at the time of the last survey in 1984.
