Description

The Goodall memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 15 meters north-east of the east end of the north aisle of the Church of St Mary. It commemorates John Goodall, who died in 1826. The tomb is made of sandstone ashlar and features a rectangular plan with battered sides that taper slightly towards the top. It has a moulded plinth and capping, along with a steep-chamfered top ledger. The south side includes a moulded inscription panel, although only the left-hand side is inscribed.
