Description
Audley Mill is a water mill dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof. The building is oriented north-west to south-east, with its entrance facing north-east. It stands two storeys high and has a gable entry loft. To the right, there is a stable-type door accessed by stone steps. The ground floor has a large fixed-light glazing bar window on the left, while the first floor features a small four-pane casement window also on the left. There is an additional door on the left-hand gable. Inside, a wooden water wheel remains at the rear, along with contemporary gears and some early 20th-century machinery, including a corn grinder. A detailed description of the machinery was not possible at the time of the resurvey.
