Description
This building is a stable located 100 meters northeast of Weeford House Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a low-pitched tiled roof with verge parapets supported by stone kneelers. The stable has a classical, symmetrical front with three bays, characterized by raised strings at both the first floor and eaves, and a slight central break that gives the roof a pediment-like appearance. The upper level has low rectangular blind openings above round arch blind openings on the ground floor. In the center, there is a segmental-headed opening with stone dressings and hinge blocks flanking the walls on either side, all at single-storey height and one bay wide. This stable is part of a larger coach staging post complex.
