Description
Glebe House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with an attached carriage arch from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with painted dressings and a plinth. The roof is tiled, featuring verge parapets and coved eaves, with end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front and a string course at the first-floor cill level. The windows include three-light segmental-headed small-pane casements on the upper floor, which are larger on the ground floor, and a central square two-light window on the first floor set in a moulded architrave. The central entrance has a moulded surround and a corbelled hood, with a radial fanlight above a six-panel door. The attached carriage arch features dentilled eaves aligned with the first-floor window level and a segmental arch. The house faces the church across a cleared graveyard, creating an attractive view.
