Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a stone plinth and a string course at the first floor level. The building features a hipped slate roof with a modillioned cornice and ridge stacks. It has an L-shaped plan with a west-facing front that is two stories high and has three windows. The first floor is fitted with glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has segmental-headed tripartite sashes, with the center window designed as a French casement. Inside, there is an elegant full-height stair and a hall, with the staircase featuring a curtail step and a mahogany handrail supported by plain balusters.
