Description
The fence and steps located immediately northeast of Blithfield Hall date from the early 19th century. They are made of cast iron and feature an ashlar plinth, piers, and coping. The fence extends north from the northeast corner of Blithfield Hall for approximately 50 yards before turning at a right angle to connect with the Orangery. An opening in the eastern section of the fence leads to the steps. The design includes a chamfered plinth, panelled piers, and moulded coping, along with iron trellis work decorated with rosettes. The piers flanking the steps are topped with urns.
