Description
The structure consists of a bridge, gate piers, walls, and a ha-ha located south of Blithfield Hall, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features dressed stone gate piers and bridge, red brick walls, and a ha-ha with ashlar coping. The bridge has a single 4-centred arch and parapets, leading to the outer courtyard entrance, which is flanked by square section gate piers. There are approximately 5-yard lengths of crenellated and buttressed wall on both sides of the gate piers, with the wall on the left continuing as a ha-ha for about 50 yards.
