Description
Shobnall Grange is a 17th-century building with a late 19th-century wing on the right-hand side. It has been divided into two dwellings and features two storeys plus an attic, alongside a two-storey section. The original part is constructed of red brick with some coursed rubble and includes a five-light stone mullioned window both above and below. There are two moulded stone string-courses and a plain gable on the east side, which is lighted by a mullioned and transomed window above a doorway that has a shallow arched head and an original iron-studded door. The building also has an original stone stack that is buttressed and features diagonal brick shafts with modern brick capping, as well as plain eaves and modern tiles. The later wing is cement rendered, has two storeys, and is topped with a tiled roof.
