Description

Blythfields Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse of red brick with a clay tile roof. It has an L-shaped plan. The building is two storeys high, with a basement, and features a first-floor band and a dentilled eaves course. There are two casement windows on the front elevation, each with a segmental head, and a boarded basement opening to the right of the centre.

The south-east elevation includes a projecting gable on the left side of the main range and a two-storey rear wing to the right, with a gable-lit attic. This wing has one bay with casement windows, a door to the left, and a ridge stack to the left.

The interior of the ground floor rooms has stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
