Description
The service wing and tower to the north of Mayfield Hall is a late 18th-century structure built of ashlar with a plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features a first-floor band and an eaves band. The building is divided into three bays, with a central rounded-headed carriage arch that has a clock above it, leading to a slightly projecting domed tower topped with a domed cupola and an acorn finial. The first floor has six-light casements and a single light casement on the left, while the ground floor windows are accented by a sill band. To the left, there is a door with a moulded architrave and a moulded cornice hood. This service wing and tower are attached to Mayfield Hall at its southern end.
