Description
This is a barn located approximately 30 yards east of Blythfields Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof. The barn is one storey high and has three roof bays. There is a segmental headed barn door positioned to the right of the center, along with two tiers of ventilation loops.
Inside, the roof trusses are designed with angled struts that extend from the tie beam to the principal rafters. The structure includes one pair of purlins, a ridge piece, and straight wind braces.
