Description
This pair of game larders, built around 1900, are located approximately 100 meters northeast of The Lawns. They are constructed from red brick and feature hipped slate roofs. Each larder has an identical small, single-storey octagonal design, with segmental-headed doors and windows. At the top, there are cupolas with louvred openings that have arched heads, along with octagonal rooflets and finials. These larders are part of a larger Edwardian mansion complex at The Lawns, which was built for the Bass family, known for their brewing business in Burton-on-Trent.
