The garden steps and retaining wall, located approximately 20 yards west of Mayfield Hall, are likely from the 18th century. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature an hourglass plan, with the lower half being convex and the upper half concave. The retaining wall is situated at the upper half of the steps.
