Description

The Almshouses, dated 1836, are a pair of red brick buildings that stand two storeys high. They feature stone-coped gables on both the right and left, each topped with a stone cross. The facade is arranged in a 1+2+1 pattern of small stone-framed windows, which have modern casements, and doorways, all of which are adorned with square-headed dripmoulds. The doorways for Nos. 24 and 30 are located on the return sides and are fitted with ledged, iron-studded doors. The buildings are roofed with tiles.
