Description

No 28 in Chetwynd Aston is a cottage range dating from the 17th or 18th century. It features a red brick facade that faces a timber frame or stone structure, topped with a tiled roof that has gabled ends and brick dentil eaves. At the north end, there is a gabled crosswing. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which include 19th century and modern casements. On the ground floor, there are two canted bay windows from the 19th century, and a modern door. A stone tablet, inscribed with "KS, TM 1701", has been re-set into the building. Additionally, there is a brick ridge chimney stack.
