Description

Aston Manor is an early 18th-century brick house built on a sandstone plinth, with a steeply pitched tiled roof and gabled ends. The house has two storeys and an attic, and originally had two windows across the front. It features 19th-century tripartite sash windows with painted stone lintels. A 19th-century pilastered doorway is centrally positioned with an entablature above. Two brick stringcourses run along the facade. A large brick chimney stack is visible at the south end, and another is above a contemporary rear wing which was extended in the late 19th century. Inside, the rear staircase retains a large newel with a square section and an onion-shaped finial.
