Description

No. 24 Hodgebower is a cottage dated 1714, featuring later and modern alterations. It is constructed of brown brick and has one storey with an attic. The front includes two pairs of modern French windows and an altered doorway with a ledged door. There are two restored gabled dormers and modern leaded lights throughout the building. A stone tablet at the first floor displays the initials IBM along with the date. On the left-hand side, there is a two-storeyed bay, while the right-hand side has a small bay with a tiled pentice roof.
