Description
Lincoln House is an early 19th-century building with later alterations, featuring two wings. The northern wing is an early 19th-century former cottage made of red brick, standing two storeys tall with a gabled end facing the road. It has two modern casement windows and a plain wooden doorcase topped with a gabled hood supported by wooden posts, leading to a four-panelled door. There is also a small arched window on the east side with cast-iron glazing bars and tiled roofing.
The rear wing, dating from the mid-19th century, is also constructed of red brick and is built on sloping ground, comprising two storeys and a basement. The south side of this wing features one sash window and a canted bay window below, along with a small gabled dormer and a hipped tile roof. The north side has a moulded wooden doorcase with panelled reveals and a four-fielded-panelled door. Additionally, there is a brick terrace on the west side, which includes segmental archways below.
