Description

The Old Rectory dates to the early 19th century. It is constructed of buff brick with 2 storeys. The principal elevation faces the garden to the south. A slightly projecting bay window is located on the left-hand side, featuring a single window. The main section of the south elevation has three wood-mullioned, transomed windows set within stone surrounds, the two on the right-hand side each having a small gable above. A French window is set within a stone surround to the left. A three-light canted bay window is situated on the right, with a tiled pentice roof. Later 19th-century additions exist on the west side, built in a similar style. An end gable incorporates shaped brick copings. A projecting wing on the north side features a modern doorway within a porch bay, which has a tiled pentice roof.
