Description

The well-head immediately east of Admaston Spa dates from around 1840 and was built for a mineral spring. It features an octagonal stone structure with panelled sides and a circular internal bowl. The first mention of the mineral spring at Admaston was in 1764, and it became well established as a spa in the late 18th century and early 19th century.
