Description
The Church of St George in Rodington was built in 1851 to replace an earlier church. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings. The building features a nave and a north aisle, both adorned with plate traceried windows. The chancel has a polygonal apse with lancet windows. There is a modern brick gabled south porch. At the west end of the nave, there is a three-light window with plate tracery, and above the west gable, a timber bellcote rests on timber brackets, topped with a tiled spire. Inside, the church has a three-bay north arcade and the nave is supported by king post roof trusses. In the churchyard to the south of the church, there are several early to mid-19th century tomb chests.
