Description

Grove House is a red brick house built around 1820-1830, featuring a low pitched slate roof with stone coped gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in segmental arched openings. At the center, there are glazed double doors leading to a wide portico supported by Tuscan columns and a heavy entablature. The house has brick end stacks. Inside, there is a single contemporary geometric staircase with stick balusters.
