Description

The Manse is a manse built around 1840 for the Wesleyan Chapel. It is constructed of buff brick and features a slate hipped roof. The building has two storeys and three windows, which contain modern casements set in the original openings, each topped with voussoired lintels. The central entrance has a pilastered doorway with a hood supported by console brackets, a rectangular fanlight, and a modern door. There are two large buff brick chimney stacks on either side of the building. The Manse is included in the listing for its group value.
