Description

Madeley Wood Methodist Chapel, dated 1837, is a building constructed of buff brick. It features a facade divided into three bays by plain pilasters and is two storeys high. The outer bays have raking parapets, while the central bay rises above with a cornice and a pedimental entablature that includes a stone tablet displaying the date. The chapel has small paned iron windows with semi-circular heads, and the ground storey windows have square heads with cast-iron lintels. The entrance is marked by a stone pilaster doorcase with a cornice and a 12-panelled divided door.
