Description

Little Gables is a long cottage that dates from the late 16th or early 17th century and features a timber frame with rendered infill panels. The south end of the building is completely rendered, while the north end has two gables, one of which is jettied. There is a large timber-framed gabled dormer above the south end. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a range of five windows, all of which are modern casements with leaded panes. A modern gabled porch is present, along with a rendered brick ridge stack at the center that projects at the front. Additionally, there is an external chimney in front of the north gable with a diagonally set stack.
