Description

Powk Hall is a large, roughly L-shaped timber framed farmhouse dating to the 17th century. The ground floor is roughcast, with vertical timber framing and plaster infilling above. The upper floor has a slight overhang featuring a moulded fascia. The house has various casement windows, some of which are original, and decorative carved brackets. A doorway dating to the 18th century, with a fanlight, leads up a flight of steps. A tall central chimney has paired brick stacks. The roof is of old tile. A corner turret and a porch were added later.
