Description
Meole Cottage is a house that possibly dates back to the mid-18th century, with later additions. It is constructed of brick and features roofs made of Welsh slate and plain tiles. The original 18th-century building has a long range with a gable facing the street. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century bow window, and above it, a renewed sash window. The rear of the building has a coped gable from the 19th century, which contains a late 18th-century full-height bow featuring 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched stuccoed heads and stressed voussoirs. A late 18th-century wing has been added to the right, positioned at a right angle to the original block, and its windows have been renewed. The entrances are now located in the side wall and in the later wing, with a side wall stack present in the 19th-century addition.
