Description
Whitcliffe Hill is an early 19th-century house constructed of rubble with a shallow pitched slate roof and a brick stack with later additions at the rear. The building is two stories high and likely has a cellar. It features a two-window range with 2-light casements that have metal glazing bars. The ground floor windows are similar to those above and have shutters, all set under segmental arches. The entrance is located on the right side, featuring a plank door beneath a stone porch adorned with two four-pointed arches, one of which is positioned over the plank door leading to the rear. Above the porch, there is a stone band and machicolation, with a 20th-century metal casement above, which likely replaced a former oriel window.
