Description

This is a late 17th-century house located in Shrewsbury. The building is constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has a gable facing the street, with a three-window front. A four-panelled door is set within a timberwork porch on the right-hand side. To the left of the doorway are two 12-pane sash windows, and above them are four-pane sash windows, with a blind window positioned above the doorway. The gable has a pediment and contains paired sashes beneath a relieving arch. A later 19th-century wing extends at right angles to the main range, likely replacing an earlier structure that stood to the right. A narrow bay was added to the left in the later 18th century. Stacks are located in the side walls. The rear elevation also features a pedimented gable topped with urns. The interior retains the original staircase.
