Description

This is a house, likely dating from the late 15th century, although with an 18th-century facade. The building is now used as offices. It is constructed with a stucco finish over brick, possibly concealing a timber-frame structure. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The front of the house has two storeys and a three-window arrangement. A six-panelled door, with a recessed overlight within a reeded architrave, is centrally located to the left. Twelve-pane sash windows are situated on either side of the door. Above, nine-pane sash windows align irregularly with those below. The corners of the facade are emphasised with stressed angle quoins, and a moulded cornice creates a parapet. A wide gable on the right side of the building features a two-light casement window, bargeboards, and a pendant finial supported by moulded brackets. A stack is located on the right-hand gable. A parallel rear range extends from the main building.
