Description

This milestone, located on Bron-y-garth Road in Weston Rhyn, is likely from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. At the time of the last survey in May 1986, it was partly buried in soil and undergrowth. A cast-iron plate on the milestone bears the inscription "TO / ELLESMERE 9", although there may be additional text below that was not visible during the survey.
