Description
No. 42 Cartway is an early 18th-century building constructed from colourwashed stone and brick. It stands two storeys tall and features defaced quoins. The façade includes two arched sash windows set within defaced architraves. There is a simple doorway accompanied by side lights, topped with a plain wood cornice. The building has plain eaves and is covered with old tiles. Nos. 34 to 43 Cartway, which are consecutive, form a group with this property.
