Description

Manor House, originally shown as Rectory on the Ordnance Survey map, is an early 19th-century building located in Hughley, Shropshire. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with two ridge stacks at the front and two at the back. The house has a square plan consisting of three by three bays and stands two storeys tall. Notable architectural details include a dentilled eaves cornice and 16-paned glazing bar sash windows, which have gauged heads on the first floor and plaster lintels with keystones on the ground floor. The central entrance features a six-panel door with panelled reveals and a rectangular overlight. Inside, the ground-floor windows still have their original panelled shutters.
