Outbuilding Approximately 25 Metres To South Of Hall Farmhouse

This is a 16th-century outbuilding located approximately 25 metres south of Hall Farmhouse. It is a four-bay timber-framed structure that may have originally served as a stable. The building features brick infill panels, and the ground floor has been faced or rebuilt with later brick. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor consists of three bays, each containing one room, while the fourth bay includes a dog-leg staircase and a doorway in the gable end with a cambered head. The first floor is open to the roof, supported by cambered tie-bearers with queen struts and additional struts above the collar. There are plank doors on both the ground and first floors, and a small section of the first floor is weatherboarded.
