Description

Stepple Hall is an early 17th century and late 18th century building, located in Neen Savage. The earlier part of the building is timber-framed and brick, while the later section is entirely brick. Both sections have tiled roofs and brick stacks. The original part is two storeys high, featuring casement windows. The later addition to the front is three storeys high, with sash windows; the ground and first-floor windows are accentuated by keystones. The front facade has a four-window arrangement. The doorway has a modern reproduction doorcase, pediment, rectangular fanlight, and a modern glazed porch. The older portion of the building contains massive roof timbers. The later section incorporates some chamfered ceiling beams, likely reused from elsewhere. A low wing extends to the right, featuring a canted bay.
