Description

The Church of St Mary is a Grade II* listed building dating back to the 12th century, with later alterations. The top of the tower was rebuilt after a fire in 1825 and originally featured a timber spire. The church has a notable late medieval timber-framed south porch, and the roof is supported by braced rafters with tie beams. An early 16th-century screen has been restored, and significant restoration work was carried out in 1882.
