Description

This is a pump located approximately 2 metres to the west of Newman Hall Cottages in Berrington. It dates from the mid- to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The pump features a fluted columnar shaft with a splayed spout, a fluted top, and a straight handle. There is a maker's plate on the shaft. At the time of the survey in March 1985, the cap was missing. This pump is included in the listing for its group value.
