Description
The building at 18-22 St John's Hill dates from the early to mid-19th century, with later alterations. It is a brick structure of three storeys. The front elevation originally had one sash window at number 20, while the remaining windows were later replaced with three modern casement windows, all set within arched recesses at the second floor level. The ground floor windows are generally altered and set within four-centred arched recesses. A later 19th-century canted bay window is present on the right-hand side. The doorcases are plain, with the one at number 20 featuring a pedimental hood. The roof is covered in slates, and the building has plain eaves. It is included on the list for its group value.
