Description
This is a barn located approximately 20 meters south-west of Bank Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with later alterations. The structure features a weatherboarded timber frame set on an uncoursed limestone rubble plinth, with corrugated iron sheeting on the gables and a slate roof. On the north side, there are casement windows to the left and right of the center, as well as a lower right window. The barn has two doors at the center, with the left-hand door extending down to below the eaves. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to have a square panelled timber frame with brick infill. The roof consists of four bays constructed with a mix of Queen post and Queen strut techniques, along with through purlins and straight windbraces.
